Land access is a critical part of getting new, sustainable minded farmers on the land, and keeping New Hampshire’s precious farmland active. Some of us are awakening to sourcing more of our food locally, and some of us have developed relationships with local farmers. The land that the farmers steward is a critical piece in the equation. Land For Good has programs and resources that help keep farmland active, by helping landowners find farmers, helping farmers in their search for land, and guiding the transfer of existing farms to the next generation so that more land is not lost to development, losing that agricultural resource forever.

As the New Hampshire Field Agent for LFG, I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding land access, whether you are a landowner with farmland you’d like to make available, or a farmer looking for land. As a small-scale sustainable farmer in the Souhegan Valley, I am committed to growing and strengthening this community of farmers and eaters.
